I can not believe it has been so long since I have posted on this blog. Well, it's not because I have not had cakes to make. I have been busy as a bee, baking, creating and spending time with my 4 beautiful kids still left at home.
Here is my latest creation for a baby shower. So much fun!

| Baby Block Cakes. Four separate cakes covered in hardened, royal icing "blocks". |

| Each "block" was made with royal icing, and made to look like a foam block. |

| Baby Monkey was the theme, but the Mother-to-be fell in love with the original, hand-drawn, and detailed Elephant. |

| Four flavors were Pineapple Millionaire with coconut and pecans, Peanut Butter Banana, Strawberries & Cream, and pictured above...Fresh Blueberry. Absolutely delicious with pound cake! |
